We are conveniently located right off AZ-51, in the heart of Central Phoenix, on 16th St. just north of Missouri at 5601 N. 16th, Phoenix, AZ, 85016.

If taking AZ-51 from the north, we advise getting off on Bethany Home Rd. and heading south on N. 16th St.

If taking AZ-51 from the south, we advise getting off at Coulter Rd. and heading north on N. 16th St.

We provide free parking in our self-serve parking garage located south of the theater. The parking garage has 375 spaces available, 10 of which are ADA Accessible, with 4 levels.

Hours

The Madison Center for the Arts Box Office opens at 3pm on event days. For shows starting before 3pm, the Box Office will open one hour prior to the performance.

The Box Office will be available to call Tuesday through Friday between 11 AM and 2 PM.

What To Expect

  • Arrival
    • Doors open an hour before the performance is scheduled to begin. We recommend patrons arrive at least 30 minutes before the show begins to ensure enough time to grab concessions and find their seat! This will also help them avoid lines at the box office. 
    • Patrons who arrive to a show after the performance has begun will be held in the back of the theatre until there is a break in the performance, typically during a scene change or after a song finishes.
  •  Concessions
    • The Madison Center for the Arts offers a variety of snacks and beverages at our concessions and bar are open through intermission, including candy, chips, popcorn, bottled water, soda, and more. Cash and cards are accepted. All concession purchases are allowed in the theater.
  • Dress Code
    • Our patrons wear everything from smart casual to cocktail attire. Dress for a great time at the theatre! Theatres are often kept cool for the benefit of the audience. If you typically get cold in air-conditioned spaces, you may consider bringing an extra layer.
  • Cell Phone & Filming Policies
    • Use of cell phones, including filming, is prohibited during performances unless otherwise stated.
  • Bag Policy
    • Bags smaller than 12 inches by 12 inches are allowed. Bags may be randomly searched. Bags that appear larger than 12”x12” will not be allowed in the theater.
  • Unaccompanied Children
    • All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Prohibited Items
    • Glitter, confetti, noisemakers, helium balloons, glass containers, vases with water, firearms, and weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited.

More Information to Know Before You Go

The Box Office will open at 3pm on the day of the event. For shows starting before 3pm, the Box Office will open one hour prior to the performance.

If purchased online, your tickets will be emailed to you or held at Will Call. If purchased over the phone, your tickets will be held at Will Call.

  • Bags smaller than 12 inches by 12 inches are allowed. Bags may be randomly searched. Bags that appear larger than 12”x12” will not be allowed in the theater.
  • No outside food or drink is allowed in the theater. No reusable water bottles will be allowed in the building. Sealed clear water bottles only.
  • Concessions are available for most shows. Food and drinks purchased at concessions are allowed in the theater unless otherwise stated. 
  • Glitter, confetti, noisemakers, helium balloons, glass containers, vases with water, firearms, and weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited.

Yes, all persons, regardless of age, must have their own ticket. Some shows may have an altered policy. If you’re in doubt, please contact the Box Office at boxoffice@madisoned.org.

Please contact the Box Office and we can either resend or reprint your ticket.

First, check to see if you can attend a different performance for the same show. If you still can’t attend, check to see if a friend or family member would like to attend. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges unless a show is cancelled or rescheduled. Some refunds or exchanges are allowed on a case by case basis.

You will receive a refund if a show is cancelled. If a show is rescheduled, your ticket will be honored for the new date. If you cannot attend the new date, please contact the Box Office for a refund.
